After graduating with degrees from King’s, London (BA) and Bristol University (MSc) Tim joined the Medicine Division of Blackwell Science, a world renowned academic publishing company, where he led the newly conceived electronic publishing strategy.

In 2001, he was recruited to the Royal Free Hospital / UCL by Professor Epstein where they collaborated on, and managed, the development of the “Map of Medicine”. Subsequently, he has worked on a sequence of innovations in education and healthcare delivery.

In addition, Tim is the development lead for the Royal Free / UCL Institute of Minimally Invasive Gastroenterology (IMIGe), providing both immersive learning and e-learning to healthcare professionals wishing to learn the skills required to practise video capsule endoscopy and other minimally invasive techniques.
